This is my stop on the blog tour for Adele Griffin's book The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone.
Unlike other book tours this one is a bit different.

I met Addison, or Addy as most of us call her, when I moved to New York. I moved there not long after she did, and met her through school. She was definitely a force to be wreck-end with in the art world here. I think Zach, his mother, Berger, Lincoln, and all them knew that too. Everyone seemed to want a piece of her, and as far as Addy was concerned each of them had that piece. Sometimes, I think maybe they each took a little too much of her, and that's why things spiraled out of control. It wasn't that she stopped the "Z" although it could have played a small part, but it was those around her that kept wanting and pushing and poking until she flipped. One girl, one woman can only take so much.
I hope that if Addy is up in Heaven that she's still drawing, and being the awesome artist I know her to be.
Addy, We miss you and <3 you!
National Book Award-finalist Adele Griffin tells the fully illustrated story of a brilliant young artist, her mysterious death, and the fandom that won't let her go.
From the moment she stepped foot in NYC, Addison Stone’s subversive street art made her someone to watch, and her violent drowning left her fans and critics craving to know more. I conducted interviews with those who knew her best—including close friends, family, teachers, mentors, art dealers, boyfriends, and critics—and retraced the tumultuous path of Addison's life. I hope I can shed new light on what really happened the night of July 28. | Amazon | SoHo Teen | B & N | Indiebound |

This book is charming, the characters well-developed and the action sweeps you along. There are steampunk elements, as well as the supernatural population. I enjoyed every page!
