#BookBlogWriMo Day 14: What does a rating really mean?

Rating System

Hi dear readers! Welcome to day 14 of the #BookBlogWriMo!

11/14 – Your Ratings System - A lot of blogs have ratings policies or systems. Some don’t, but they really do. What makes you decide how many stars to give?

Rating Systems to me seem pretty useless. Okay, now don't get mad at me for saying that because at one point (if you look at some older reviews) I have star ratings (well book ratings) on them, but I don't see the point in them.

I mean how do you determine if it gets half a star, what pushes it past that half star to the next one. I really did try them, and I just felt like it wasn't worth it anymore because I might have been giving a wrong indication of what I really thought. Make sense? To me just writing about the book is enough, but of course amazon and goodreads have it where you can put them so I do it there.

Like I said I have no method of giving out stars to any of the books I read unless they are unbelievable good, or horrificthe 2-4 all kind of mingle together.
